Auto Telos is my graduation project.
Why do we experience satisfaction in some moments and in others we don't? In search of answers to this question, I have explored various approaches. Through interviews, literature research, and personal experiences, I have discovered that our expectations play a crucial role in experiencing satisfaction. To illustrate this concept, I have created an interactive installation that challenges these expectations.
The installation consists of three objects: a broom, a writing desk, and a bicycle, all of which do not deliver the expected results. For many, it feels useless or frustrating to put energy into these objects. But what if you engage with the objects, expecting them to simply set you in motion? Would you still experience frustration or a sense of uselessness? Engage with the interaction and experience satisfaction through your expectations.

The videos below, accentuate the lack of attention for activities that are not performance-oriented. During this experiment, hardly anyone noticed me: everyone was focused on themselves and their goals.
