In addition to making lighting objects, I started experimenting more and more with free works of steel. I love painting and welding, so what could be better than combining the two? The ‘surprise’ effect that welding offers: when the welding hood is on, you can barely see what the whole thing is going to be. As soon as I take off the hood, it is always a surprise how the heat has hit the steel and how the whole thing comes together. With this surprise effect, every project is equally exciting, but also so much fun!
