Besides studying at art school in product design, I have always been involved in graphic design. I have designed several student magazines and yearbooks and completed several assignments. For instance, I fully designed and illustrated a published book, including the cover. I have also designed logos and deal with the design of dissertations, working with the authors to create a visual image that personalises their work. I also handle the visual communication of my own design studio. My graphic design skills have developed tremendously over the past few years.
The book below on transition has been one of my most recent assignments. The illustrations are related to various menopause symptoms and I also created each one, as well as the entire cover of the book.

For the cover of Noor Riedstra's dissertation, she wanted it to be inspired by the famous Matisse. Her thesis is about the hip, which she wanted subtly incorporated. I made several designs, some examples of which you can see below, along with the final result.
Logo Design
For Ruma, a company that develops and produces a wide range of products for various industrial applications, based on their original logo I have designed an additional logo for 'GRIP' projects. The GRIP projects are meant for an increased productivity, positivity and get more 'grip' in general within the company. First I made some black and white variations. After they chose one of them as their favourite I have developed the logo to create 8 final proposals.
